Inform Teachers

Teachers might be in a situation to discuss topics evolving around file sharing with their students. While most of this will be legal stuff and is not directly connected with DRM, I'm afraid many might end up saying something like: „And because you share files, all those gifted artists need to protect their work with DRM.“

We should find ways to inform teachers about DRM, enabling them to treat the topic properly. Its probably a question of getting the message through by using simple, easy to understand images/metaphors.

(I have to say that I do know this is not the loud bang one might expect as an action for Oct 3rd. It's only that I learned today that the music industry does exactly this the other way round: In my country (Austria) they put together some slides, DVDs etc., stating that copying is stealing and so on, and even gained support of the ministery of education to distribute it to all teachers. - They poison the children. We have to do something against it.)
